This was definitely not the typical first day of class and definitely not
learning as usual.

Eleven students committed to the pilot program. The ISC is rigorous, but so are
the students. Tyson says, “The students are great. They represent a good crosssection of disciplines and interests as well as different types of high school preparation. If this program is going to work, it must be accessible to all of our clientele.”
