Fun Fact: I’ve gone whitewater
rafting in the Grand Canyon.
About the ISC: “The most appealing feature of the Integrated
Science Curriculum is the small
class size, which is what I am accustomed to, coming from a very
small high school. In addition, I
enjoy working in small groups.”

in groups for assignments, so
the class collectively has become
a team. We meet before every
test to study and every week to
go over homework, but we have
a non-academic relationship as
well; we eat lunch together every
day after our lecture. Sometimes
the professors join, as well.”

Favorite book: “The Elegant
Universe” by Brian Greene
About the ISC: “The ISC has
been a wonderful opportunity to
learn science in a new way. We
have been exposed to lab procedures that undergraduates don’t
often see. The ISC has given us
so many opportunities to learn,
meet faculty, and get involved
in undergrad research. The ISC is
a challenging course, but well
worth it for anyone who can put
the work into it.”
