About the ISC: “The most appealing feature of the Integrated Science Curriculum is the small class size, which is what I am accustomed to, coming from a very small high school. In addition, I enjoy working in small groups.” Mike Anderson Hometown: Gambrills, Md. Favorite books: The Harry Potter series About the ISC: “The 11 of us have become a family. We work in groups for assignments, so the class collectively has become a team. We meet before every test to study and every week to go over homework, but we have a non-academic relationship as well; we eat lunch together every day after our lecture. We have been exposed to lab procedures that undergraduates don’t often see. The ISC has given us so many opportunities to learn, meet faculty, and get involved in undergrad research.
