VPHS Gr 8 Fun Day Starting high school has been my greatest adventure yet, and I know that I am not the only one who feels this way. This year has been filled with fun, hard work, some tears and a lot of sweat !! When we got a break from all that water, we got a chance to eat, buy a snow cone or two, go for a second round on the obstacle course, mingle and get to know our new friends on another level beyond just knowing their names. Our journey as Grade 8s has been a great ride from name tags, airstrikes, camp, orientation and dancing for our lives - all great memories, but nothing will beat our FUN DAY ! FUN DAY was the day we got WET WET WET! Although there was loads of competition amongst the classes, we still supported each other, established new friendships, and truly became a green-blooded , proudly Victorian family !!! Grade 8 I was eventually declared the winning class. Well done, but I know that we were all winners. We were split up into our classes to compete with each other to see who reigned supreme. We started off with our almighty war cry, with help from our class teachers and our assigned councillors. After that, the game was on, as each class got a chance to face off in the MONSTEROUS WET SOAPY OBSTACLE COURSE OF DOOM. Sivuyisiwe Nxawe 8V 95
