The workshop also included keynote presentation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suwit Chotinun from Department of Food Animal Clinic, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University on the topic of “The safety of Chicken Meat Production”. An update of food security in Thailand, farms and slaughterhouse standards, and the report of laboratory confirmation related to common foodborne pathogens that mostly found in the slaughtering production line were also presented including the brainstorming session from all stakeholders for prevention and protection practice to have poultry meat safety from slaughterhouses to consumers.

After finishing the workshop, the poster of proper hand washing and the trilingual signs (Thai, Myanmar, and Tai) were provided to the participants to use in their workplaces.
