Human Rights Campaign
Vorys has been recognized as one of the top gay-friendly workplaces in central Ohio for the 10th
year in a row by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). In December 2017, the firm received an equality
score of 100 (out of a possible 100) and was named a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” The firm
earned this score for having non-discrimination policies, a firm-wide diversity and inclusion committee, and
for supporting the LGBTQ community, among other criteria. Only seven central Ohio-based businesses
received perfect scores. In addition, the firm was one of only five Ohio-based law firms listed in the
rankings.
Columbus Pride
More than 75 Vorys attorneys, paralegals, staff, friends and family
members marched in the 37th annual Stonewall Columbus Pride
Parade. Team Vorys donned shirts with rainbow ties and carried
festive balloons, candy and signs showcasing our pride. We were
proud to showcase our support for our LGBTQ employees, clients,
family members and neighbors.
