and counselors also toured the ATC. When asked what was

STUDENT TOURS
In addition, VMA coordinates and funds student tours to the
area manufacturers.
They drive through the industrial parks in Daytona Beach and
Ormond Beach. Manufacturing Champion signs indicate the
VMA members. Everyone receives a goody bag (items donated
by VMA members), a “Hands on Careers in Manufacturing”
t-shirt, brochures and poster.
The manufacturers that opened their doors for these tours
are Thompson Pump Manufacturing, Medtronics, Hudson
VMA Bus Tour Panel Discussion at Teledyne.
