It’s all about you! Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June) is your time to shine – give us your feedback, nominate someone for an award, or help out in our Scottish challenge! Marsh Trust Awards There’s still time to send your nominations for a Marsh Trust award. There are six categories for Barnardo’s which recognise the exceptional level of commitment and support our volunteers give to Barnardo’s. This year is the 15th anniversary of our partnership with the Marsh Trust. There are still a few days to send your nominations (by 16 June). There is also an external award for Outstanding Achievement in work with Children and Families, for employees and volunteers working in other charities. The deadline for nominations is 27 June so please spread the news and nominate! Contact Camilla Zuliani for more information. Barnardo’s Registered Charity Nos. 216250 and SC037605 Do you volunteer in Children’s Services? Marshalls needed in the Southern Highlands At Barnardo’s we value the incredible contribution of our volunteers and we want to make sure their experience with us is a positive one. To find out what you think, we have developed a volunteer satisfaction survey for Children’s Services volunteers to capture their experience. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey so that we can continue to improve the support we give you. Barnardo’s Scotland is the local charity partner of the Rob Roy Challenge on 21 June. Volunteer marshals are needed for this hike and bike adventure in the Southern Highlands. Roles range from registering participants to handing out essential water supplies and cheering to provide that essential support. Get in touch with Kara Gillies if you’d like to help 0131 446 7019.
