To provide volunteers with the most current information, Volunteer Essentials has been updated. As
updates will occur throughout the membership year, the membership year has been removed from the
cover as have all page numbers. Links to forms and pages to our website have replaced some forms and
procedures so the most up-to-date information is right at your fingertips.
You may find other small changes throughout Volunteer Essentials, but some highlights include updated
annual membership dues, volunteer roles on volunteer-to-girl ratio chart, ratio examples, and in
Transporting Girls’ section, required trainings for troop leaders, accepted First Aid/CPR certification
providers, available program kits and the link to the online travel training.
The calendar, council map, shop list and hours, camp list and contact information has also been
updated. Equipment rental forms for Camps Conshatawba, Hawthorne Ridge, Redwing, and Skymeadow
remain and the camp reservation form has been edited to reflect those camps. The Facility Information
Chart has been replaced by a link to GSWPA’s camp reservation web page.
Information regarding GoGoldOnline was added as was clarifying information regarding donations to
troops information.
The procedures and form that have been revised include the Trip & High Risk Activity Procedure and
Form and the Bank Account Policy and Procedures and associated Bank Account Information and ACH
Authorization Form. Outdated forms that have been removed include the Adult Training Interest form,
GSWPA Volunteer of the Year Nomination form, and the Multiple Troop MagNut and Cookie Sale
Designation forms.
