Why we fear dark.
I used to wonder what is darkness and I read somewhere it's nothing but
absence of light and I truly agree. We fear darkness because we are so used to
seeing our reflection in light that when we don't see our reflection at night we
get scared. It's not the dark that scares us but the idea that there can be
something right in front of our eyes .Face your fear of darkness before it become
your limits.

Mother‟s day
The modern American holiday of Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908,
when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist
Church in Grafton, West Virginia, which now holds the International Mother's
Day Shrine.[6] Her campaign to make "Mother's Day" a recognized holiday in the
United States began in 1905, the year her beloved mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis,
died. Anna's mission was to honor her own mother by continuing work she
started and to set aside a day to honor mothers, "the person who has done more
for you than anyone in the world". Anna's mother, Ann Jarvis, was a peace
activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the Civil War and
created Mother‟s Day Work Clubs to address public health issues.

Mother's day is the day where we be be grateful to our mother for taking care of
us from the day we were born till we be an adult. To show that we are thankful
to our mother. we should make make something with our own hand. such as
handmade card or a handmade cupcake. For Mother day, my sister and i went
out to buy the big eyes toys that she really wanted. she was happy. i really
thankful to have such mother who can stand my attitude and be my listening
ear.

For me, I spend my day with none other than my beloved mom. Even though we
did not go anywhere, I still find our day good. As for the past weeks, I have been
busy with studies as our exams are coming. I decided to talk to her yesterday.
We did went out to Jurong Point(a shopping mall located in Jurong) We had
lunch and went home, and I spend the rest of the day with her.
