ACTIVITIES
DESTINATION IMAGINATION
I'll just mention about our Destination Imagination club. Destination
Imagination is an international organization, and their mission is;
"To develop opportunities that inspire the global community of learners
to utilize diverse approaches in applying 21st century skills and creativity.
The Destination Imagination program encourages teams of learners to
have fun, take risks, focus and frame challenges while incorporating STEM
(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts and service
learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics,
respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving
process. Teams may showcase their solutions at a tournament
We prepared like 4 months for Regional Tournament and last week it
happened!!!!!! We wrote a playbook and it was about a child who has a
. designed our costumes and decor; so we played!

Fortunately, GKV (our nickname) on 3rd place in Ankara Regional
Tournament! I'm so proud of us because it was our first time. I hope we
will be well-prepared for next year. Thank you!

I will talk about one of the project that my school does every year, it's
called Young Parliament. Young Parliament is a conference that aims
teenagers to get used to parliamentary system and find new solutions
about global and significant issues. My school and 8 local schools from my
city come together and creates a new parliamentary which aims to solve
the problems of our country.
Each school has different ministries (like health,education,energy...) and
each ministry has it's own chancellor who speaks in front of everyone and
who explains their ministry's solution ways to prime minister, head of the
parlament,senators and our clerks. Me and my schoolmates were
organizators and as organizator team we tried to make everyone
comfortable and happy, As organization team we did enjoyable games
and stuff to get everyone warm. Everything was nice and educational, we
had worked a lot and had fun a lot. So there are some pictures of our
parliament, I hope you all liked my school's Young Parliament.

On 14th of November, we had a costume
party as Cemil Alevli College students. Our
purpose was to get closer and friend with
9th grade student. The theme was
‘Halloween’ so we were supposed to wear
different kinds of Halloween costumes.
There were ninjas, zombies, different kinds
of movie characters, etc. We played
different kinds of games. At first, we played
hide and seek in the school. It was the
evening therefore the school was empty
and dark. We all found some places for
