It was my first day in class at CTJ. I didn't like my teacher. In the break, while climbing the stairs I was commenting to my friend and when I looked backwards I saw that the teacher was climbing the stairs too. I was very ashamed and afraid. Until today, I don't know if she had heard what I had said, but I learnt a lesson: Never talk about a person in a public place, only in rooms, inside cars and bedrooms. In other words, only when I'm sure nobody is listening. I suggest that other people should do the same to avoid this embarrassing situation. - Julia Carolina I think that people should always do what is morally good , sadly this is not the case. I remember one day, I was in the shopping mall to buy something and I went to the restroom to wash my hands. I was feeling angry because I was locked up there. I screamed and a woman heard me and helped me. When she opened the door I ran because the shopping mall was closing. When I arrived at the department that I wanted to buy things in. I saw that my bag wasn't with me, I had forgotten it in the restroom. I ran back to the restroom but nobody had seen my bag. The next day, I called the lost and found department to ask if they had found my bag. They hadn't. Someone had taken it. I think that it could have been the woman who had helped me. Since then, I've thought about that day. I know if I ever find someone's personal objects, I'll do what is morally good to do: return it! -Reneta Rebeiro The most special day I can remember was the first time I sang in front of an audience. I was six years old, and was participating in the school's theater group. We were presenting the’ Oz musical’ and I was playing Dorothy. I only sang half of the song because the teacher said that the song was too difficult for me. But still, it was really special. Almost my whole family - mom, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle and all the other kid’s parents were there too. I was very nervous, my hands were sweating a lot, and I started to cry before going on stage. I almost gave up. When I started to sing, my hands were shaking a lot and the audience was quiet, I thought they weren't liking it. When I finished singing everyone started screaming and cheering a lot and I felt so proud and happy that I started to cry again. - Iara Alves 26
