CTE spotlight
February was National CTE Month. In honor of the occasion, we want to thank Mississippi Power for teaming up with the Workforce Development Alliance Partnership, Ministerial Alliance, and Meridian Community College to provide valuable workforce training sessions for dozens of our students. During the two days of training, the students learned about resume writing, customer service, the importance of dressing for success and particpated in a mock interview. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Our 8th graders recently received a good dose of reality thanks to a reality fair that was sponsored by local community partners. The opportunity helped students to better understand the ins and outs of budgeting. Click on the image below to hear about the lessons that our students learned. We want to offer a special thanks to local credit unions for providing this meaningful opportunity for our young scholars.
