WLE participated in the Fill the Mayflower canned food drive . Mrs . Berry ’ s kindergarten class donated 500 cans . WLE donated close to 3,000 cans to help during the holiday season .
2 nd grade displayed their “ Turkeys In Disguise ” along with their Turkey Trouble opinion writing .
WLE partnered with SEMS & NEMS to collect donations for Bayou Blue Middle School in Houma , Louisiana that was closed due to Hurricane Ida . “ Flood with Love ” shirts were sold and the money raised was given to the school . Thanks to all who volunteered & sent donations .
