azmyn Yon is a stylist that specializes in natural hair , weaves and locks . She has been doing natural hair styles for over 7 years and everyday she loves her profession more and more . Jazmyn loves to modernize classic looks to make them fun and wearable for the woman-on-thego . Jazmyn ’ s motto is “ I am an artist and your hair is my canvas ” and because of her passion she treats each of her clients with the same passion and dedication . She currently attends numerous continuing-ed classes each year so as to always be knowledgeable of the best and healthiest techniques to use .

What inspired you to become the woman that you are today ? My inspiration has come from being surrounded by strong women . My mom and grandma have been the best role models for me and my daughter . My daughter and I are extremely fortunate to be able to learn from both of them on a daily basis .

What are your current endeavors and future goals ? I am currently working on expanding my all natural , vegan friendly beauty product line . I have body scrubs , whipped shea butter , and sugar scrubs .

What would you define as a Woman Warrior ? A woman warrior is a strong woman who can handle any situation that she is faced with and makes the best of it . She is a strong woman that is not afraid to work hard in order to succeed .

What word of advice would you like to share ? I would advise other women to never give up regardless of the circumstances . Never allow any distractions to keep you from achieving your goals . Always stay focused . n

What obstacles did you overcome to get to where you are today ? Being a mother at the age 16 while attending high school was one of my major challenges . It reinforced the importance of a family support system and it also taught me that quitting was never an option in my book .
