In the March President’s Report, I mentioned the Committee decision to limit presentations to those aligned with the Purposes of the Club and to avoid any public campaigns. At the same meeting we re-affirmed the policy of not contributing Club funds to charitable organisations as per our Rules. The Club received a most welcome note of thanks from Wally Spinks on behalf of the Salvation Army saying thank you for over two decades of Pajero Club support totalling more than $20,000. As a Club, we will continue to encourage members to make their own donations to their preferred organisations, and we hope to resume an active program of trips and events to visit and support regional communities such as those affected by bushfires, droughts and flood.
