Since you work in medical billing, can you give us any insight into how companies have been handling the surge in patients? I can't go into much detail in regard to your question because of our privacy policy but what I can say is that there are many places that are helping pay the medical consultation via TeleMed so if you feel ill, call around. This may not be available in all areas but asking doesn't hurt. Many places are offering free covid screenings but if your symptoms differ from covid, contact your local clinics and get checked. No illness should go untreated just because you have no insurance. How have you been staying positive during this time? I have been trying to stay "sane" and keep it together for my children, but with all my health issues, everything going on, and finding out today that both my sisters and their husbands, along with an aunt, an uncle, and a cousin were positive with covid is hard to look at the positive side of things. I do however strongly believe that this time of trial will pass and that staying home is our safest bet. Is there anything we the public can do to help make you feel safer? If you do decide to go out, please wear your masks and if possible gloves. Carry hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes to keep it from spreading even more. Happy Vibes: Is there anything you want to say to the Connect Magazine readers? Never give up and never lose hope. I know times are tough at the moment but we will prevail. If you feel sad or any negative thoughts cross your mind, don't hesitate to reach out to someone, someone is always listening. We can all get through this and we will, together we can make a difference. Stay safe and God bless. 27
