They are usually the first and the last face we see. They are there every step of the way, monitoring and ensuring we are okay. They also offer that frequent smile and the compassion we need. Teachers They are simply nation builders, mentors and home away from home. Teachers not only equip us with knowledge and skills but also life lessons. They are a part of our lives for at least 15 years, preparing us to become meaningful contributors to our societies. Nannies We are raised by our parents but we must admit our nannies share that responsibility too. Whether a family member, friend or one by profession, nannies share the burden of parents, taking care of children when they need it most. Local Entrepreneurs For those in rural areas what would life be without your local food market, honey supplier or even seamstress? For our cityfolk, could you see a life without your “around the corner” beauty salon or that online based natural hair care line? They offer us luxuries such as variety, competitive but reasonable prices and quick easy access. They make our market life easier! 23
