The Life Of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi by Aarush Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India. He was a boy who’s personality was shy, quiet and didn’t talk much. One day at his school he was so scared that he ran away from school to his home. He was a peaceful boy who hated violence. As his childhood and adulthood Gandhi loved to take long walks with his stick. He took walks all around the woods. One day Mohandas Gandhi walked from his home all the way to the indian ocean we walked a total of 200 miles. On the day he walked 200 miles everyone lined up on the sidewalks,roads etc. just to feed and give Gandhi shelter on his journey. Years passed by, Gandhi lived in London. He went to a university in London in 1891 and later on he returned to India and discovered the way it had changed. He tried to become a lawyer there but it was not good so he tried to be Indian Law firm. In the times before India got it’s independence the British ruled the country. Sometimes Gandhi didn’t agree with the rules of the British empire he and his followers got whooped because so. Gandhi decided to give his first speech and on that day no one trusted Gandhi’s words but then suddenly his words influenced them and everyone started to listen. More speeches were held and held. The british started hurting the people but my the words of Gandhi’s [Peace] the Indians didn’t fight back to the freedom. Along with that Gandhi was put in jail several times but that didn’t stop him at all! He would often not eat any food and starve when he was kept in prison. Later on the whole country started walking calm with Gandhi [Gandhi in the front..]. India and Pakistan had a war, but Gandhi decided to fast for 21 days till India got their independence! Suddenly on August 15,1947 India won without using their hands or weapons. The day Gandhi got shot was January 30th 1948!
