Adam and Amanda Stowell knew they wanted a cool , unique bar with amazing cocktails at their own wedding in 2018 , but could not find anything suitable locally . Amanda started doing some research and decided to renovate a horse trailer , creating a unique , Instagram-worthy bar for their September wedding . On St . Patrick ’ s Day , the horse trailer arrived , dingy and covered in camo paint . Adam and Amanda decided to name it “ Lucky .” Five to six weeks later , they had renovated Lucky into this amazing mobile bar and knew other couples would want Lucky at their wedding too . Secretly , they built a business plan , deciding to launch The Traveling Tin Co . mobile bartending services . Adam and Amanda went live online on the day of their wedding . The couple woke up the next day married , with 7 inquiries about The Traveling Tin Co . and knew that Lucky had hit the jackpot .
As their business exploded , they realized not everyone needed a horse trailer for a bar , so they expanded their options and now they offer 4 types of mobile bars as well as just bartending services . You can choose from : “ Lucky ,” the renovated horse trailer ; “ The Tin Bar ” for a rustic , farmhouse look ; “ Jolly ,” the greenery bar with custom lighted neon signs ; or “ The Bar Cart ,” a peddler ’ s style wagon wheel bar cart . Adam and Amanda continue to grow their mobile bartending business with unique and creative options , all creating amazing photo opportunities and delicious drinks .
Sit down with Amanda and let her help you plan your wedding bar . The Traveling Tin Co . is licensed and insured , but operate
a little differently than most bartending services . Amanda asks couples to complete an extensive questionnaire discovering not only the number of guests , but also how many hours they will be serving drinks , what type of drinks , craft a signature cocktail or mocktail then she creates a custom bar menu . Finally , Amanda calculates everything , takes your budget into account , and gives you the total amount of necessary alcohol and any fruit or garnishes needed . You then purchase the alcohol yourself . The Traveling Tin Co . can pick it up for you or you can bring it to the venue and The Traveling Tin Co . will provide cups , ice and bartending services . By planning your bar in this fashion , Amanda has found that it saves money as you control the amount and types of alcohol purchased .
The Traveling Tin Co . also offers vintage furniture to create the picture perfect setting or lounge area by their eclectic mobile bars .
