Did You Know?
Anonymous 2 writes, “I am not the
anonymous who normally complains
about our collections. He comes across as
just mean, but I am also worried about our
collections. What’s going on?”
“Our September collections were down 20% from last
year. Parishioners gave generously to our collection for
Houston Relief and 50% of that type of second collection
generally comes from our first collection, but even that
doesn’t explain the size of our first collection decline. In
addition, collections for the first week of October are
down 11% from the same week last year. Why? I don't
know. But, as I say over and over, I’m a man of faith.
God will take care of us.”
