October 23, 2016 Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time Views From The Pews 2 Did You Know? Chris says, “I loved the ice cream social after the seven o’clock Mass. It was a delicious way to start my week. Thank you.” “Thanks belong to our Hospitality Ministry. Its members work hard to give us party after party.” Augie writes, “I think it is too early to be selling raffle tickets for Cajun Fest. It’s like we give to that thing all year long.” “We have a large group of people who work on Cajun Fest all year long, and I am very grateful for them. Their hard work results in our being able to pay close to half of our $30,000 a month mortgage on Padre Hall II. I hope you can help whenever Cajun Fest asks, but I understand if you cannot.” Fr. Mike 40 DAYS FOR LIFE Please continue to pray and fast until November 6th, during this 40 Days for Life Campaign. Eucharistic Adoration Thursday, October 27th When parishioners ask me what they can do to help make the world a better place in which to live, I frequently quote St. Teresa of Calcutta.
