Did You Know?
Edgar writes, “What do you use the
money we give to that building fund for?
I never hear where it goes.”
“The money is used for building
maintenance. For example, we need major repairs on
our school roof. We will soon spend between $30,000
and perhaps $75,000 on that job.”
The Catholic Catechism says, “Submission to authority
and co-responsibility for the common good make it
morally OBLIGATORY to pay taxes, to EXERCISE THE
RIGHT TO VOTE, and to defend one’s country.
