November 5, 2017 Thirty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time Views From The Pews 2 Did You Know? Anonymous writes, “I gave this to a friend to give to you because I am shy and don’t want you to know who I am but I would like to give my thoughts from time to time. How can I send you notes and still remain anonymous?” “Notes may be put into the Suggestion Box to the right of the far right door as you leave church; you may put them through the mail slot in the door of the Pastoral Center; or you may mail them to me without a return address.” Frances writes, “Thank you for your homily on love. I am 77 years-old and you made me realize I have never really known what love is. I have drifted through life not really ever knowing that I was doing loving things because I never really knew what I believed love is. I am going to work on a definition but I will use your definition in the meantime. Again, I really thank you.” “You’re welcome.” Father Mike During the past 15 years, among people admitted to the United States, Christians outnumber Muslims. The book will be brought up during the offertory procession and placed on a small table in front of the altar for the duration of Mass. After Mass, it will be returned to the podium in the vestibule for continued use.
