Eddie writes, “Father Mike, you did a
beautiful job with the way our parish
looks during your years here.
The
landscaping and things are the best. But,
you are letting down in your last weeks here. Get rid of
that dead bush as we go to church. It has been dead and
ugly for lots of weeks.”
“A landscaping company believes it might be
salvageable. The company is researching what to spray
it with. I’ll keep you informed.”
I reported some weeks ago that, according to a national
poll, only 80% of Americans say they believe in God. A
new national poll says only 56% of Americans believe in
God as described in the Bible.

Substance Abuse Ministry Meeting
The next SAM meeting will be held
Tuesday, May 22nd, upstairs in the
Pastoral Center beginning at 7 p.m.
The Substance Abuse Ministry (SAM)
offers a safe, confidential place for people
touched by addiction to share their personal
experiences with others. SAM provides
general educational information about addiction through
professionals in this field and is open to people of all faiths.
The ministry is open to both those afflicted with or
affected by substance addiction.
