Did You Know?
The Alexie Family writes, “I can’t recall if
I said this before but Clark Knighten (our
choir director) is an amazing blessing for
this parish & his voice always makes me
smile.”
“On behalf of Clark, thanks for the compliment.
It is deserved.”
Theresa writes, “Haven’t seen you. Where have you been?”
“I took ten days off. Flew to Chicago to see my
daughter, Heidi, sing in a concert. She got two standing
ovations. I then flew to Nashville and did three Baptisms
and a Mass in the Nashville parish Kacky and I attended
for 23 years. I also toured Nashville with my son and his
family to show my grandchildren where their dad grewup. Finally, we all went to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and
Dolly Wood. I rode a bunch of roller coasters until I got
whiplash and then watched the grandkids ride more roller
coasters. It was a fabulous trip but I’m glad to be home.”

Adult Faith Formation
Deacon Paul Clark will lead a
new 4-week cycle of Adult Faith
Formation in July reviewing Pope
Francis’ new Encyclical letter
entitled Laudato si’: On Care for Our Common Home.
This encyclical challenges us to see our world as our
home and to care for it like we do our
own homes.
We will only read
excerpts from the Encyclical but
everyone is invited to read it in its
entirety
on
the
Vatican’s
website. Sessions will take place on
Wednesdays at 7pm in the church
meeting room beginning July 8th.
In a recent national survey Americans were
asked how many children they believe make an ideal
