Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
A message from Fr. Daniel
My Dear Sons and Daughters in the Lord,
Here I sit in an empty office on my last full day
and I can’t help but remember the great memories.
Over the last three years I have been truly blessed
to be a part of The Visitation of Our Lady. I can
still remember my arrival and Max Burke coming
to meet me and help me move in. I can also
remember the beautiful reception that was hosted
by the hospitality committee after my first mass.
Now here we are three years later and I have had
so many more experiences. I have presided over
many masses, funerals, baptisms, weddings and
prayer services. I have taught numerous Adult
Faith classes, RCIA sessions and trainings for
extraordinary ministers and lectors. I have also
spent many hours with our young people through
the school, youth ministry and religious education.
None of these things would have been possible
without your great support and love. It has been
one of my greatest blessings to have such a
supportive parish for my first assignment. Thank
you for all of these gifts and for the gifts shared
with me in these last weeks. I will not forget you
and I hope you will remember me in your prayers.
Fr. Daniel
