It makes me feel happy.” “Please feel free to tell him yourself. Our music director, Clark Knighten, is the person you want to thank. You can find him at the piano or organ at all our Masses except for 7pm Sunday.” Paula writes, “I thought I had just missed getting my throat blessed this year. I don’t know what happened last weekend. Somehow I missed it. Thank you for doing it again.” “You’re welcome.” Bob writes, “I wrote you last year after the grandparents mass and told you I was so impressed that I would be coming back to Mass. In 1960, 73% of American children under the age of 18 lived in homes with two parents in their first marriage. In 2013, the last year for which data is available, the percentage had dropped to 46%. Fr. Mike I am very encouraged by the response we have seen in regards to our upcoming Adult Faith Formation book discussion of “The Miracle Man” . Lent is a great time to do some spiritual reading and to refocus our lives. So I look forward to taking this journey with you. For those who have already bought books we will begin our discussion on February 19th. We will be discussing passages and themes from pages 1 to 43. Feel free to read the whole book or to take it in chunks. However, you read it is fine. We will just split the book up into groupings for our discussions. For those who don't think they can read that much at one time please still feel free to come to the sessions. We have all experienced suffering and we know what it is to journey through lent. So everyone can add something to the conversation. Again, I am very excited by the response for this particular reading and look forward to the Holy Spirit's movement in our sharing. Fr.
