Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord
Views From The Pews

Did You Know?
Emily says, “I heard on the news that
Pope Francis doesn’t like social media,
like tweets and stuff. Is that correct?”
“Not exactly. Pope Francis is a big
fan of Social media. For the third year in a row, the
Pope was declared the most influential person in the
world on Twitter. However, at World Youth Day this
year, pope Francis warned the young people there that
virtual friendships are not a substitute for real,
interpersonal relationships. He also suggested that the
world would be tremendously better off if people looked
at a Bible verse on line as often as they look at other
apps.”

Month 2 – Developing Baby Spiritual
Adoption Program
Your baby is making progress
developing all of his/her external
features and internal organs. At 40 days
his/her brain is functioning. His/her
mother can hear his/her heartbeat now on an ultrasonic
stethoscope. Milk-teeth buds are present at 6 ½ weeks. And
it has been reported that a two-month old baby can suck his/
her thumb. From this moment, your spiritually adopted baby
grows and refines his/her body. But everything he/she needs
to survive once he/she is born is already present by the end
of the eighth week.
Please Pray
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to
spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually
adopted who is in danger of abortion.
Prayer of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
During the nine month Spiritual Adoption campaign, the
development of the pre-born child will be displayed in the
vestibule of the church. Please remember to pray daily for
your Spiritual Adopted Baby and the baby’s mother and
father.
A Pew Research Center national poll finds that
Facebook is the Social Media Platform used most
by American adults. Pope Francis’s top choice,
Twitter, is number three. Here are the top three

Substance Abuse Ministry Meeting
April 11th & 25th
Meeting will be held upstairs
in the Pastoral Center.
The Substance Abuse Ministry
(SAM) offers a safe, confidential place
for people touched by addiction to
share their personal experiences with
others. The ministry is open to both those afflicted with or
affected by substance addiction.
SAM provides general educational information about
addiction through professionals in this field and is open to
people of all faiths.
The group does not provide professional diagnosis,
therapy, counseling or treatment, but provides a list of
referrals of local addiction facilities and professionals.
For more info contact Deacon Jerry Labadot at 495-5820.
Do we really believe that we can become the person
God has created us to become? Do we believe that we can
do it by ourselves? If you find that you might need some
help please come to our SAM meeting and see if we can do
it together.
God loves you just the way that you are
but he loves you too much too leave you that way.
