Did You Know?
A bunch of you have really nice
compliments about this year’s Easter altar
decorations. Most of the compliments
are focused on the Risen Jesus’ tomb in
front of the altar. Here’s one of them. Elaine says, “It’s
just gorgeous. I could hardly take my eyes off it. It is the
best yet.”
“Compliments should be directed to Maria Burmaster,
Valerie Hemphill and Lisa Oncale. They are the
architects and worker bees. Valerie is the artist who
designed Jesus’ tomb.”

Substance Abuse Ministry Meeting
The next SAM meeting will be held
Tuesday, April 10th, upstairs in the
Pastoral Center beginning at 7 p.m.
The Substance Abuse Ministry (SAM)
offers a safe, confidential place for people
touched by addiction to share their personal
experiences with others. SAM provides general educational
information about addiction through professionals in this
field and is open to people of all faiths. The ministry is
open to both those afflicted with or affected by substance
addiction.
For more info contact Deacon Jerry Labadot at 495-5820.
Mass attendance for Easter was approximately 50%
higher than our average weekend Mass attendance. Just
under 2,000 people attended our services.

VOCATIONS WEEKEND
Jesus speaks to us about vocations:
“W hen Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,
because they were harassed and helpless,
like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples:
‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore,
to send out workers into his harvest field.”
(Matt 9:36-38)
Keep our parish priests in our prayers. Pray a rosary
before mass for more young men and women in our parish
to respond to God’s call.
Join us Sunday, April 15 th , at the 7:00 p.m. Mass
