April 17, 2016 Fourth Sunday of Easter Views From The Pews 2 Did You Know? A bunch of you send compliments about the Blue Mass and dinner we held last Saturday to honor our First Responders. Here’s one of them. Margie writes, “It was all terrific. The Mass was lovely and the dinner was amazing. We had enough food for thousands and it was all delicious. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting it on.” “Thanks for the kind words. They belong to Christie Bourg, our Ministries Director and to our Hospitality Ministry. The Mass and dinner were Christie’s brain child and she, the members of the Hospitality Ministry and many other did all the hard work.” Several of you have compliments for my Blue Mass homily. Here’s one of them. Paula says, “Your homily was wonderful.” “Thank you for the compliment. Confirmation Celebration On April 7th, Bishop Fernand Cheri celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with over 40 young men and women from our parish, which included both CCD and Catholic High School students. A special thank you to Bishop Cheri, and to Mrs. Beverly Monk and Mr. Greg Stahel, the Confirmation teachers, for preparing these young adults for the reception of this sacrament.
