Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord
2
We need YOUR help! Office Closed
It doesn't matter how big or how
small, any time you can give will be
a tremendous help to the men and
women who take on this project each
year. Volunteering helps our parish
grow stronger, and in giving that time you could actually
get something back...friendship, pride and a sense of
accomplishment. And, you'll also be showing your
children & grandchildren how to be responsible and
caring adults.
Do you want to know why we get so excited about
this festival, and why we work so hard to make it better
each year? Well, that's a question that can only be
answered by volunteering. So, do your part...sign up
today and help make V.O.L. a better place for our
children & grandchildren. The Pastoral Center will be closed
Friday, April 14th & Monday, April 17th
for the Easter Holidays. The office will
reopen on Tuesday, April 18th @ 8a.m.
Eucharistic Adoration Thursday,
April 20th
Christ suffer ed and died for Y OU. His
love for you is unfathomable. It’s time to take
time for Him.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed
at the end of the 7 a.m. Mass on the fourth
Thursday of the month, and benediction
and reposition will take place at Midnight on that
same day.
Substance Abuse Ministry Meeting April 25th
Meeting will be held upstairs in the Pastoral Center.
The Substance Abuse Ministry
(SAM) offers a safe, confidential place
for people touched by addiction to share
their personal experiences with others.
The ministry is open to both those
afflicted with or affected by substance
addiction.
SAM provides general educational information about
addiction through professionals in this field and is open to
people of all faiths.
The group does not provide professional diagnosis,
therapy, counseling or treatment, but provides a list of
referrals of local addiction facilities and professionals.
For more info contact Deacon Jerry Labadot at 495-5820.
Do we really believe that we can become the person God
has created us to become? Do we believe that we can do it
by ourselves? If you find that you might need some help
please come to our SAM meeting and see if we can do it
together.
God loves you just the way that you are
but he loves you too much too leave you that way.
