Finding new lands
The waves were roaring. The wind was howling in the caves of rock. The sky was not, for the night-dark clouds were obscuring the earth. And there tossed from side to side, up and down was a galleon straining for survival. On its deck were some hard working men which were unflooding the ship. They knew that it was hopeless but they did not surrender for the honour of the Ilibuns.
'Man the oars, man the oars! Full strength starboard, full strength starboard for king Illibun!!’ But too late it was for with a blinding flash, the mainmast cracked and the high deck split from side to side.
When Alberiong opened his eyes he thought it was heaven, for the sky was a glossy light pink and there were few white clouds. He was thrown back to the people’s world when he tried standing up and a terrible pain shot up his spine as if it was on fire. After various attempts he stood up and looked around and really thought he was in heaven. He was standing on a golden beach and at first he thought he had just found the worlds greatest treasure. The golden grains were being lightly stroked by crystalline waters. Behind him there was a plain of green. All this was locked within a tall walled bay. Suddenly he saw something move and quickly tried to find something but nothing there was. Time froze as he saw those cursed shapes move into view… Those shapes were not accursed at all but were his fellow shipmates. ‘Alan, George, Frank!’ he cried. The shapes heard him and ran. They met in the middle of the beach with happiness flowing through them madly.
They then found another ship from the expedition and many other people stranded. Together they founded a kingdom and named it after the sailor that was having the biggest impact on the creation of the kingdom: Alberionga.
In 10 years the land became a small kingdom.
Not alone
How happy were they, the people of Alberionga! A well known maritime port had been constructed and trade was now flourishing. Who could have ever expected that in 10 years one of the greatest marine republic would rise? These men were proud and feared nothing but the sky falling on their heads. However, these worthy sailors had no problem in attacking in them from all angles as soon as they were in the bay. These men were happy beyond any mortal’s dream. They did not know the truth however. For they were not alone.
