She woke up. She didn’t know why she had woken up until she heard the noise again. It was someone knocking on her door. She wondered to herself, who would be knocking at 4:07 in the morning? She decided to ignore it, so she went back to sleep. When she woke up the next morning, she went about her normal routine: eat breakfast, go to work, come home, eat dinner, and go to sleep. That night, she dreamed she was cooking dinner for herself when she heard knocking on her door. She thought it was coming from the dream, but she suddenly realized it was someone actually knocking on her door. Knock, knock, knock. She checked her watch. It was 4:07. She decided that she would answer the door. She got out of bed, walked to her door, and opened it. No one was there. The next day, she didn’t go to work. Her boss thought it was weird that she had not called in sick, so he decided he would go check on her after work. When her boss arrived at her house he went up to the door. When he knocked, the door swung open. He called her name. There was no reply, so he went into her bedroom. What he saw was something he would never forget.
