Holy Fire: 150 acres of land were burned. It began in the Cleveland and for the first time in Cleveland National Forest history, smoke jumpers were dispatched to work on the remote areas of the forest.

Chimney Fire: 46,344 acres of land were burned. It was in San Luis Obispo County and the cause is currently under investigation.

Rey Fire: 32,606 acres of land were burned within the Los Padres National Forest. As of September 13, most of the trails as well as campgrounds are closed off.

Soberanes Fire: A fire that is in a different area of the Los Padres National Forest, the Soberanes fire has currently burned 107,050 acres. It was caused by an illegal campfire that continues to burn.

Sand Fire: burned 41,432 acres of land near the Angeles National Forest, which caused the closing of an area, road and trail of the park to the public.
