That ’ s according to new research from Tribepad . The recruitment software company has authored a report on recruiter ‘ ghosting ’ which shows that the practice is having a detrimental impact on our mental health .
According to the report , 65 percent of the UK public has been ghosted by a prospective employer after an interview . It seems that few of us can just brush off the experience . According to the research , 86 percent of ghosted applicants are left feeling down and depressed .
