Wild Life Botanicals has taken low-alcohol wines to the next level with these two offerings – the rosé Blush and white Nude . Before we even get to the wines themselves , it must be said that these are beautifully presented premium products . The gift-pack looks great and it was so informative that I read every word on the box before I took out the bottle . Each of the botanicals are pictured together with a summary of their benefits . Wild Life Botanicals is a Cornish company and they are clearly proud of their heritage . Blush and Nude are both suitable for vegans and one 125ml glass will contain 15 percent of your daily reference intake of vitamins and minerals . And if you are watching your figure , these wines contain 60 percent fewer calories than champagne or prosecco .
Blush Nude
Upon opening , there is a very satisfying ‘ pop ’ as you twist off the cork . It looks and smells just like a bottle of sparkling rosé wine and there is a good amount of bubbles as you pour . While almost all of the alcohol has been taken out , the wine retains its Sauvignon Blanc aromas . However , it is what is actually in this drink that is the main story here . There is a mix of vitamins , minerals and botanicals in every glass including calming lemon balm , soothing damask rose and antioxidant-rich rosemary . This has proved to be a really enjoyable and guilt-free drink . [ PG ]
This award-winning wine only disappointed on one front … when the bottle ran dry . I ’ m ever the sceptic when it comes to near alcohol-free alternatives , so I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first sip of this light , refreshing number from Wild Life Botanicals . Everything from the fruity taste to the sleek , gently contoured bottle made for a sophisticated drinking experience . And the fact that it ’ s overflowing with beneficial vitamins and essential minerals made it feel like I was doing my body a favour by enjoying a glass . [ JM ]
Final Thoughts
All in all , Wild Life ’ s Blush and Nude sparkling wines are great for those who want to enjoy the festive season with friends , family or work colleagues … and wake up refreshed the next morning . But don ’ t think that these are only for those who want an alcohol-free experience .
