Time for Celebration ?
It ’ s been four years since medicinal cannabis was legalised in the UK . And while we celebrate this victory for the industry … there is clearly still much more that needs to be done .
People are instead forced to travel abroad or pay huge monthly fees to secure their health … and with the only specialists authorised to prescribe cannabis now retired , the situation could get much worse .
In this issue we heard a desperate father ’ s impassioned plea for the government to change medicinal cannabis laws and help save his daughter ’ s life .
But this story is one of thousands , with an army of advocates – and even some MPs – calling for a change to the current regime .
