In the wide and varied world of pod systems , we vapers have a very difficult decision when it comes to picking our next device . I ’ m pleased to say that the Smok Acro Kit is here to help make that decision a bit easier . There are so many features packed into this small , sleek beauty of a device . First and most importantly for me is the addition of variable wattage and a small screen , something so often missing on smaller pod systems . You also get two different firing methods , traditional button fire or an auto draw . USB Type C charging , adjustable airflow and the 1000mAh internal battery gives you plenty of vaping time throughout the day . The sheer amount of bang you get for your buck with the Smok Acro is incredible . The Acro is primarily a MTL device , the pods feature a 0.8Ohm coil that is run at a suggested 12-15 Watts . I found 14 Watts to be the sweet spot for me . One slight downside is that the coils cannot be changed on these pods , this mainly comes down to personal preference and it does make sense in this case as it keeps the size of the pods and the overall device down to a minimum . That being said , the coils last a good amount of time so it really is only a minor grumble . The pods are super easy to fill , there ’ s a small rubber stopper on the side of the pod that gives you access to a small filling hole . I definitely recommend using 50 / 50 juices with these pods as I think it would be pretty difficult to get thicker juices in there due to the size of the pod and the fill port . The pods have a capacity of 2ml . Airflow adjustment is handled by a small slider on the back of the device just underneath the pod . It gives you three options that for me range from an extremely tight MTL vape when completely closed off , to a restricted DTL when fully open . I personally liked it halfway open , for a tight but not completely restricted draw . I am extremely impressed with the flavour I have been getting out of these tiny pods , having tried several juices , they handle everything from fruits to desserts and menthols with no issues . Vapour production is what you would expect from a MTL device of this size , a decent amount but not for the cloud chasers out there . The Acro is extremely user-friendly , I would be happy recommending this to brand new vapers due to its ease of use . Operation is as simple as five clicks of the button to turn the device on and off . Three clicks will switch between the button draw and auto draw modes . I personally prefer the button draw because that ’ s just what I ’ m used to after so many years of vaping , however the auto draw works well and I can see it being a popular feature . A quick click of the up and down buttons will lock the wattage on the device , and that ’ s everything . Nice and simple . Build quality seems to be really impressive . Although the Acro is extremely lightweight it feels very sturdy thanks to its metal body . The pod is attached via magnets and I ’ ve had no issues with the pod being loose or falling out at all . I ’ m also very pleased to say I ’ ve experienced no leaking at all with the Smok Acro . Always a massive bonus . In summary I ’ ve really enjoyed my time with the Smok Acro . It ’ s a great size that ’ s super portable , packed full of features , brilliant flavours , long lasting battery and coils . It ’ s a device that I would happily use again and again .
