Since the Spring Executive Council Meeting, I have worked on the parliamentary FAQ, which will be going up soon with a few preliminary question/answer sets (apologies for the massive delay). The questions in the parliamentary FAQ cover a number of potential queries concerning VJCL elections, the VJCL Constitution, and (for all you cool cats) Robert's Rules of Order. I have also attended several JCL-related events since the March meeting. I attended (and competed in) Classics Day at UVA on April 7th. The next weekend, I was one of six VJCL officers who attended the NCJCL Convention, which afforded a wonderful opportunity to forge new friendships and, particularly for me, to observe another state's electoral process. Thank you so much to the NCJCL for their invitation and hospitality! The following weekend, on Rome's birthday (2771/2772 years young!), I attended and competed in the State Finals Certamen, during which I also talked to those interested in running for office. I look forward to seeing some of you at State Certamen team Tryouts and the Certamen/Spirit Castra, as well as at National Convention this summer! Curate ut valeatis!
