attention. And why shouldn’t it be? Here are a few tips
to get you started.
Where to go: Jacmel, Les Cayes
Jacmel: Its old wooden gingerbreads are Haitian architectural gems. Wandering around the city alone or with
a guide may result in unexpected discoveries that lead
you to a whole new level of fondness to Haiti.

In 5th grade, you were busy watching the History Channel and National
Geographic - the plan was always to be an archaeologist or Indiana
Jones.
Before a trip, so you’ve got the entire travel website and book guide
memorized. Now what?

Les Cayes: Everyone knows it, the South is gorgeous.
But have you been? Probably not. It’s time to tick this
must-see off your bucket list. Grab your best friends, say
au revoir to city life for a weekend and unwind in this
magnificent location.
What to pack: your friends, food, gas for the road, blankets, a good guide.

Where to go: India, Kyoto Japan
India: The colorful culture and dizzying life will leave you breathless.
India revels in architectural wonders, authenticity and kindness. Diluted
Western portrayals do not render the country justice. Grab a backpack,
go.
Kyoto, Japan: Unlike Tokyo’s electric world, Kyoto has embraced Japan’s
traditional and peaceful culture. Cherry blossoms, wooden temples and
zen gardens abound. It is not uncommon to lose yourself while staring
at a waterfall crashing, or an old Samurai school.
What to pack: camera, guide book, backpack, etiquette dos and dont’s
(did you know that it is polite to slurp loudly while eating in Japan? It
pays compliments to the chef)

d’epices) sont de vrais joyaux de l’architecture haïtienne.

surprenantes qui susciteront en vous tout un autre niveau
d’attachement à Haïti.
Les Cayes: Tout le monde sait que le Sud est magnifique.
