Dr. Chris Peters
here are numerous stress factors that children must face. Peer
pressure, the navigation of social media, demands to study hard
and find a good job, the list goes on and on. Sometimes young
people need outside help to make sense of what’s going on in their
lives. That’s where a child and adolescent psychiatrist can help.
Chris Peters, MD, has been a child and adolescent psychiatrist

for nearly two decades. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medi-
cine, Dr. Peters completed a medical residency and fellowship program through the
University before he began practicing in 1999. After five years with Seven Counties
Services, now known as Centerstone, Dr. Peters moved to his current practice with
the Bingham Clinic at Norton Hospital in 2004. Now he sees young men and women
in need of mental evaluation, and spends time with their families as well.
