Salt and Light By Jenny Edwards MBE The other day I realised that I needed a new diary. So what was strange about that? I need one for 2018 as I already have dates that need to be entered or they’ll be forgotten! These dates are mostly for breaks away or for holidays, though not my personal holidays. They’re for times away with people from Disabled Christian Fellowship or Through the Roof, times that are important to me as it gives an opportunity for fellowship and spiritual growth. The Lord told us we were to be salt and light to others around us. The reference to light is easy to explain, as darkness is so often associated with sadness or loneliness Jen and Margaret take a (short) break on the Dalesdown holiday and other not so good times in our lives, to have light in the Our times of fellowship together do just that. They bring salt situation can change everything. Where we could not see a and light into every individual’s life, and we come away with way ahead, light opens up that pathway for us. However salt our batteries recharged and ready to spread that salt and is different, it flavours things, preserves and enhances when light to others we meet. If you would like to experience this added to things, especially food. So to be salt and light to by joining one of our times away, then please contact the others means to be a good friend, compassionate and office and someone there will be able to help you. I look patient, loving and encouraging, to give a hug and a smile forward to seeing you! and to bring the love of Christ into every situation.
