STRETCH WRAP
Stretch wrap / film offers the dual benefits of protecting your pallet load from movement as well as keeping items clean during transport. Clear stretch wrap provides easy view of wrapped contents, whilst the black stretch wrap offers load concealment. Stretch wrap is available for both hand use( with a dispenser) and machine use. There are two main types of stretch wrap offered by Visy Boxes & More.

CAST STRETCH WRAP
Film heated and fed over cooled rollers.
Soft and easy to stretch, thus ideal for hand dispenser and quick pallet wrapping.
Stretches easily, can re-stretch after application so ensure an even pressure application.
BLOWN STRETCH WRAP
Film heated and blown up similar to a‘ bubble’ and air cooled.
Tough and resilient.
Slightly more force required to stretch film. Re-stretching is difficult.
CLING OF THE FILM Naturally clingy on both sides. One sided cling only.

VISUAL CLARITY |
Perfectly clear, makes reading and scanning in warehouse lighting easy. A higher gloss makes reflections annoying. |
Not crystal clear, can make reading and scanning harder, but has a lower gloss reducing reflections. |

NOISE ON UNWIND |
Quiet when unwound from roll. |
Loud when releasing from the roll. |

PUNCTURE RESISTANCE |
Standard tearing can occur when stretched too much. |
Manufacturing process allows greater resistance to breaking. |
