The outfit I had my model wear was a t-shirt dress which had a coloured slogan printed on it. I styled this with a yellow and green checked shirt(unbuttoned) and then layered with a khaki jacket (also unbuttoned). To complete this look, I used a pair of red leather, block heel ankle boots to brighten up this outfit. The colours red and khaki are also a future colour trend for the autumn/ winter 2018 trend- nocturne.

I kept the eye makeup simple to reflect Emma Watson’s style but I also need to reflect Vivienne Westwood’d wild style therefore I applied a bold, bright pink/red lipstick to my model.

I wanted to keep the hair style simple and let the model’s natural beauty shine through. I didn’t want the hair and makeup to take the attention away from the outfit, background location or the statement lipstick.

I want the location to be in a field with long grass or a place surrounded by greenery to represent what Vivienne Westwood protests- environmentalism. The connotations to an open field are freedom, relaxing, life, vibrant, solidarity and peace. My collection is all about promoting freedom and peace therefore by having a photoshoot in a field and by having the final photos in store it will result in a calming atmosphere.

The outfit and colours in the clothes reflected the kind of garments I am using in my range plan. The location of the shoot was beautiful. My focused trend, nocturne, was well portrayed in the shot by the pong- the reflection of the trees onto the water and the change between light and dark from the direction and intensity of the sun light.

The only minor thing that went slightly wrong was that the models hands were curled up. I only found this out once I was home and sorting through the photos for the ones that made the final cut.
