MOM
MOM
My life began within a comfortable home,
where I was given all the nutrition I need.
Then the world became so noisy
with loud sounds and cries of sadness,
but a person held me gently in her arms
crying quiet tears of joy.
My eyes soon opened to the sight of the
world,
and I saw its color and beauty.
A person sat right in front of me
1
with a warm smile on her friendly face.
This person stayed by my side as I grew day
by day.
She nurtured and cared for me
while using patience and love.
This person was so kind to me
that I started to call her by a lovely name.
The name came from the bottom of my heart.
I had named her “Mom.”
