Different shades of blue seep into the white puffs,
Like warn patches showing their age.
Snow Cap Mountains line the sky,
An untamed beauty let out of its cage.
Blown about by the wind unseen,
Passing through me to the core.
Taking with it my care and wear,
As I drift into a deep snore.
Lambs jump fences and Z’s float out,
As I dream aloud again.
To be flying with the sun broken clouds,
On this dainty day at hand.

I become surrounded by white space,
In an endless freefall through subconscious.
Slowly awoken by my vivid dream,
And then returning to my nostalgic nonsense.

My eyes flutter to the gentle crisp of snow,
Flaked upon my raw, red face, melting away with ease.
A shiver crawls up my back as I calmly look up,
To the clouds dancing about the midday breeze.
