The Warrant - which can be displayed in the form of a crest, or coat of arms - enables the company to advertise the fact that it supplies to the issuer of the Royal Warrant. Around 850 companies hold a Royal Warrant. These range from clothing companies to mustard makers, right through to mobile phone companies. They are spread throughout Britain, as well as a few companies overseas.
