Christine moved to Sitka as a highschooler and got her first taste of the hospitality industry while helping her mom manage a B & B out of her home . “ I was raised on this lifestyle ,” she says . Later , after purchasing her own business , Christine started out managing several smaller properties , mostly one- to two-bedroom apartments and condos . However , she quickly recognized the need to add larger homes with things like waterfront views , as many guests were looking to feel immersed in the beauty of Sitka while visiting .
