Maidstone Carriage Museum Maidstone Carriage Museum is home to a unique collection of horse-drawn vehicles and transport curiosities . More than 60 vehicles are displayed , from grand carriages and ornate sleighs to antique sedan chairs and Victorian cabs - there ’ s even an original ice cream cart .

Lashenden Air Warfare Museum The Lashenden Air Warfare Museum is one of the longest established aviation museums in the country , having been formed in 1970 . The collection was started by members of the Maidstone branch of the Royal Air Forces Association in the late 1960s , becoming a registered charity with the aim of educating the public in 1977 .
