This elite pro cycling event will be the first of its kind in Maryland— and, as a prestigious race that’ s just one rank below the Tour de France, only the second at this level in the United States. The 110-mile race will attract some of the world’ s top riders to the Baltimore area for the event, which will also include a three-day festival celebration.

Since 1982, this international lacrosse tournament has taken place every four years and features top female lacrosse players from up to 30 countries. This year, the U. S. lacrosse team— which has won eight of the 10 tournaments— will host the event at Towson
University.
